"Gold Und Liebe," originally released in late 1981 on Virgin Records,  was the fourth album by German-American Friendship, aka DAF, produced by Conny Plank. Robert Görl played all instruments, while Gabi Delgado wrote and recorded the vocals, with the exception of "El Que," whose lyrics Robert Görl also contributed.  The artwork was designed by Ken Ansell and Ansell Sadgrove. The album contains 10 tracks, including the DAF trademark anthem "Verschwende Deine Jugend."
