“Fattura” is a south Italian ancient ritual that can be traced back at least five thousand years ago in the region of Sumer in Mesopotamia, then in Babylon and the Persian Gulf (1400 BC). This ritual causes persistent headaches, nausea and loss of strength to the victim. Everybody can be a victim of that. Dust Mites takes these ancient rites as a symbol of the impositions created by the political and economic system on contemporary society. The present seems to be more and more a chapter of an old dystopian book.
