Kagami Smile is an ambient electronic musician originally from the United States. He currently resides in Shenzhen. Originally producing under the alias, Chimess, his style incorporated plunderphonics and ambience. Over time, Kagami began experimenting with beats, techno, and noise. In lieu with his high output of albums, Kagami has appeared on many of the dreampunk associated labels, such as: Dream Catalogue, Pure Life, VILL4IN, House of the Leg, tekres, and BLCR Laboratories. In 2019 he founded the multi-genre / ambient electronic label, Forgot Imprint.
