QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE : S/T [Matador]

Queens of the Stone Age's legendary debut, self-titled album in a reissue from Matador with the original LP artwork. It was originally released in 1998, written and recorded by founding member Josh Homme and his former Kyuss bandmate Alfredo Hernández, with the latter playing drums and Homme singing and playing the rest of the instruments. It is the band’s most monochromatic album, coaxing maximum power out of minimal one-chord rave-ups.  This remastered reissue integrates three bonus tracks into the existing sequence, in a manner that actually enhances the front-to-back listening experience.
