THE ART OF NOISE W/ MAX HEADROOM : PARANOIMIA [Rca]
€17.00
"Paranoimia" is a 1986 single by the British synth-pop group Art of Noise, featuring the fictional TV character Max Headroom. The track is a fusion of electronic music and surreal spoken word, with Max Headroom delivering a monologue about insomnia and paranoia—hence the title, a blend of "paranoia" and "insomnia." The 12-inch version, known as the "New Special Paranoid-Mix," presents Max Headroom as a charismatic master of ceremonies, introducing the band with playful and absurd references, such as Peter O'Toole on trumpet and Cher on vocals. This collaboration was part of Art of Noise's work on the theme tune for the second series of The Max Headroom Show.
